If you cite a part of the book with a generic title, such as introduction or foreword, include it (followed by the word to) before the title of the book, in roman type without quotation marks. If the author of the part is different from the main author of the book, cite the author of the part first, and cite the main author's name (preceded by the word by ) after the book title.
The 7th edition of APA does not differentiate between the format of the books, print or electronic. Cite both the same way. If you have an open-access eBook, you may provide the URL at the end, provided it directly takes you to the full text without logging in.
